Family Karate Center's Competition
/ Demo Team is a select group of students who have shown great
promise as strong, all around Karate-ka. Students who are members of the team
represent our school at tournaments, (local, state, national and international),
schools, parades, and fairs.
The team is open to all ages and ranks, but we do ask for a
commitment from each member. The students are required to give maximum effort,
take extra classes and have good citizenship both in and outside of the Dojo.
Curriculum for the Team includes advanced kata,
synchronized kata, ippon kumite, self defense, sparring, team sparring and
weapons.
Parental and family support is essential to the student who
participates on the team. The Family Karate Center has always placed the well

the family involved.
